Little Scribbles

empty chairs use.

Once We Tried

Once we tried to say something

out loud.

But words were stones

lodged in our hearts.

Our eyes became transparent,

afraid of unedited feelings.

The distance to come

between us

Carried its own justification.

Shorties IF

If we had only seen our smiles

touched out tears,

We always stood upon the

step outside.

If we had only come inside

and shared our fears,

We might have loved away

each-others pride

Shorties Him

She noted that his

smile never quite

reached his eyes,

His head seemed

always in a tilt.

He seemed to be

wearing some disguise,

With this, her

heart began to wilt…
