Out of Blackness

Out of Darkness dark-night-full-moon

We must now step out of

the blackness –  and

into the warm white light,

Its time to leave the

dark angels behind us,

to wither in the blackness of night.

Evil blackness is closing

in around us,

We’ll  soon have to

hurry on our way,

Time’s writing dire pages

in a book about us,

Lurking to claim our last days.

These pages lay heavy

with our broken warriors

Scuttling all about,

We must move forward

and out of this book,

Shutting the blackness out.

Rising up out of the blackness

Into the warm white light,

We’ll  leave  the dark angels behind us

To perish in the blackness of night.
